Taking a swipe at the seemingly forced absence of Raghav Chadha at this critical juncture just ahead of the Lok Sabha Polls, the Punjab BJP President Sunil Jakhar has asked Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to come clean on the reasons behind the internal rift and rebellion within the party.

“Raghav ji has been the apple of Kejriwal’s eye to such an extent that he has been acting as the Super CM in Punjab, demeaning the elected CM Bhagwant Mann; and now his removal from the scene with Parliamentary Polls already announced raises genuine doubts about rumblings within AAP,” Jakhar said.

“If there is some health issue, I wish Raghav ji a speedy recovery,” Jakhar added.
Jakhar was interacting with media persons here after welcoming new entrants into the party fold, including Randhir Singh Mudhal, ex ADC, Advocate Ramesh Prashar, former OSD of Bikram Majithia, Former Zila Parishad Member Kotkapura Kartar Singh Shikhwala, and ex-Granthi Golden Temple Amritsar Sardar Kashmir Singh.

Replying to a question, Jakhar said the level of infighting within AAP is such that 8 seats announced by them will see a change of candidates. “You will see a change of candidates on most of these seats as the faces announced have been rejected by their party cadre,” he added.

The secret live-in of AAP and Congress has been exposed, and both must declare their formal marriage and stop assuming Punjabis are ignorant of their surreptitious deal to loot Punjab, Jakhar said.

Coming down heavily on Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for trying to portray himself as a victim in the face of imminent criminal action in the Excise Policy case, Jakhar said that the rejection of bail pleas and quashing of charges against Satyender Jain by the Supreme Court in the same case corroborate instances of massive corruption in the Policy.
Commenting on people from all walks of public life joining BJP, Jakhar said the pro-development agenda of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has impressed everyone. India has seen incremental progress in the last decade, and everyone wants to be a partner in this journey to make India the strongest nation.

“People will be voting for continuity in development, and BJP under PM Modi will win the majority and will ensure the country’s rise forward,” Jakhar added.
