In a bid to address the pressing concerns of youth in Jammu and Kashmir, Apni Party’s Provincial President for Jammu, S. Manjit Singh, emphasized the pivotal role of the party in championing the aspirations of the younger generation. During a one-day youth convention held in Vijaypur, Singh underscored the resounding trust and hope vested by the youth in the party and its leader, Syed Mohammed Altaf Bukhari, hailing Apni Party as the beacon of credibility in the region’s political landscape.
The convention served as a platform for youth leaders to engage in a comprehensive discourse on prevalent issues, with a particular focus on skyrocketing unemployment rates and the marginalization of locals in industrial sectors. Singh lamented the preferential treatment of non-local workers over indigenous youth, calling for urgent measures to rectify this disparity.
A notable highlight of the event was the felicitation of Vishal Nariana as the newly appointed Vice President of the Youth Wing J&K, signifying the party’s commitment to empowering young leaders. Singh lauded Nariana’s efforts in bolstering political activities, further strengthening the youth wing’s influence.
Moreover, Singh directed the youth wing to intensify public outreach efforts and engage with disenfranchised youth, echoing Apni Party’s steadfast dedication to grassroots mobilization.
Addressing the assembly, Singh condemned the prevalence of unfair recruitment practices and the exploitation of local resources by external entities. He reiterated Apni Party’s pledge to protect the rights of the local population in all spheres of life, vowing to combat the influence of outside interests in trade and employment sectors.
The convention, attended by prominent figures including district presidents and wing leaders, reaffirmed Apni Party’s unwavering commitment to championing the interests of Jammu and Kashmir’s youth. As the region grapples with socio-economic challenges, Apni Party stands poised to advocate for inclusive policies and equitable opportunities, ensuring a brighter future for generations to come.
