Anurag Thakur, a union minister, presented a compelling case on Sunday for the development of the Dharamshala airport in Himachal Pradesh to offer direct and seamless connection to the area.
In support of making a bigger airport, he argued that in order to go to Himachal, visitors now have to transit through Delhi and then board connecting flights, as the state’s tiny airports can’t accommodate larger planes.
