Anil Vij, former Home Minister who is still believed to be upset with the state party leadership, newly appointed Chief Minister Nayab Saini and former Chief Minister Manohar Lal, has refrained himself from the meeting held pertaining to Lok Sabha polls. It was witnessed again on Sunday as Anil Vij was not present in a meeting held here on Sunday in Panchkula at the state party office Panchkamal under the chairmanship of the state Lok Sabha election in-charge DR Satish Poonia who held the portfolio of the Rajasthan BJP earlier. Although, Anil Vij has continuously rejected that same stating that he is not upset or disgruntled with the party or the newly appointed Chief Minister Nayab Saini. It is pertinent to mention that DR Satish Poonia had held the the first election meeting in Gurugram prior to Panchkula and after holding the overall meeting in Gurugram recently, he has started taking Lok Sabha wise meetings and the meeting held in Panchkula as a part of the Lok Sabha polls preparations. It is pertinent to mention that Anil Vij has been elected an MLA from Ambala assembly which falls under Ambala Lok Sabha constituency and his absence from the meeting indicated his continuous displeasure with the party leadership and the CM.

While reacting to a question pertaining to the denial of the tickets to three of the sitting BJP MPs including Sunita Duggal, RC Kaushik and Sanjay Bhatia, DR Poonia said that every political party contests the polls to win. So in view of this, it clearly indicates that the party was pretty aware about the weakened position of the aforementioned sitting MPs who were denied tickets and replaced by Ashok Tanwar, Mohan Lal Badauli and former CM Manohar Lal as new candidates respectively. In continuation to aforesaid, it is noteworthy that Anil Vij was disgruntled with the appointment of the new CM Nayab Singh Saini and walked out the meeting held pertaining to the same. Besides, he has been at loggerheads with the former Chief Minister Manohar Lal stating that he had not even a single idea pertaining to the replacement of Manohar Lal by Nayab Singh Saini. Notably, Anil Vij held the heavy portfolio in the BJP-led government during the regime of nine and half years.

While addressing the mediapersons, Dr. Poonia said that the BJP government in Haryana under the leadership of former Chief Minister Manohar Lal has given a corruption-free and transparent government, which is dedicated to the overall development of Haryana. He said that before 2014, there was only talk of expenditure and search of documents on the roads, in railways, in sports and in jails. After 2014, BJP’s Narendra Modi government implemented the system and connected every citizen with credibility with the approval of the government. In response to the media’s question, Dr. Poonia also cornered Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal stating that now Kejriwal’s real face has come in front of the public. Speaking on Indie Alliance, Poonia said that Indie Alliance will not be successful. Among the present during meeting included Rajya Sabha MP Subhash Barala, State Media Chief Arvind Saini, District President Deepak Sharma, State Media co-incharge Sanjay Ahuja, State Media co-incharge Ashok Chhabra, State Media co-incharge Shamsher Singh Kharak, State Media co-incharge Naveen Garg and State Media Co-incharge Sandeep Azad .
