The actress revealed that playing this character forced her to channel personal pain she usually conceals from her children, making the experience profoundly emotional for all of them.
Jolie expressed how much it meant to her to have Maddox and Pax by her side during such a challenging project. She described them as her confidantes, offering her unwavering support and understanding as she navigated her emotions. In an earlier interview, she explained, “Typically, I hide my sadness from my children, but this time was different. To have them witness and support me in that space was deeply moving.”
