Ahead of their wedding on July 12, Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant celebrated their mehendi ceremony in Mumbai on Wednesday. The event was rich in tradition, as Mukesh Ambani and his son Anant conducted a grand Shiv Shakti puja, featuring a massive Jyotirlinga at their residence, Antilia, in Mumbai.
Several photos and videos from the pre-wedding celebration circulated on social media, showcasing a giant Shiva Jyotirlinga statue inside the venue. Amit Trivedi performed his hit track “Namo Namo” as Mukesh and Anant Ambani participated in the Shiv Shakti puja in front of the guests and family. Additionally, a video emerged of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant smiling and posing with a priest.

The mehendi ceremony followed the haldi ceremony, where many Bollywood celebrities were covered in haldi (turmeric). Attendees at the mehendi included Janhvi Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Sanjay Dutt, and Ranveer Singh. Alongside Amit Trivedi, Kailash Kher also performed at the event. The Ambanis organized a bhandara along with the mehendi ceremony.

On July 3, the Ambanis held a Mameru ceremony, a Gujarati wedding tradition where the bride’s maternal uncle brings sweets and gifts. This year, the pre-wedding events included a star-studded bash in Jamnagar and a luxurious cruise in Italy. Justin Bieber performed at the Sangeet ceremony, while Rihanna attended and performed at the Jamnagar celebrations.
Anant and Radhika will wed according to traditional Hindu Vedic customs on July 12. The Shubh Vivah ceremony will host guests from around the world. Celebrations will continue on July 13 and 14 with the Shubh Aashirwad and Mangal Utsav.
