Kalikwest worldwide is now becoming a prominent brand across several entertainment and music industries– especially in the US and India.

Currently, in India from California, Kalikwest is set on a mission to devote himself to encouraging new talent and business in the industry with his business partner Mohit Sharma. Together the duo has established an office in Mohali, Punjab. Kalikwest Worldwide (India) is a versatile public relations firm striving to be the perfect match for anyone willing to gear up their brand in the industry, in India and overseas.

But first, who is Kalikwest? Let’s start from the beginning: The Emergence of Kalikwest from “Cali Quest”.

Originally named Mannie Sadhra, Kalikwest was born in the mystic lands of Birmingham, United Kingdom. Life took an amazing turn when in 1988, his family moved to California, US. This clearly ignited curiosity in Mannie’s mind to explore the new home; thus he named this new era of his life the “Cali Quest”. Travelling across nations got him to traverse and adapt to different cultures around the globe. This shaped him into an optimistic and self-motivated human being, who would make just about anything possible.

It was in 1997 when Mannie took a big step and started his own company called “Kalikwest”. A year later he joined forces with famed musicians Hit ’em Hard and Big Omeezy; who unleashed the doors of opportunities for Kalikwest in the media industry. The guidance got him to collaborate with the American rapper E-40, now who wouldn’t know this name!

Working with American artists, namely Pitbull, Lil Jon, Akon and so on for a long time was fine until he discovered his love and devotion for Punjabi folk music. Hence he decided to give an identity to then-budding Punjabi musicians and assisted them in their journey up the ladder of success.

Initially, he keenly focused on the promotion in the locale of California. With great knowledge of western music, and patriotism he then came up with the idea of blending western music with the desi bhangra tunes which turned out to be a blockbuster genre in itself. In 2003, a new single, “Beware Of The Boys” by Jay Z, Punjabi MC, was released. Kalikwest with uncle Sukhi Dosanjh, the forerunner of the DJ of North America and the founder of the BPR crew with DJ Alvin and DJ Knuckles, mixed it up with hip hop that ultimately topped the entire playlists charts. The trend came to be known as the Hip-Hop & Bhangra mixtapes.

After the huge success, Kalikwest was introduced to the Punjabi Music industry where he promoted several concerts coming by new music bands all over the United States of America. That’s how he met the iconic singer and songwriter Sukhshinder Shinda and worked on revolutionary projects like Romeo, Balle, Punjabi Clap, and so on.

With his constant efforts to bring Punjabi music and musicians into the limelight, he happened to be the sole promoter and support for many popular artists like Jazzy B, Neeru Bajwa, Jimmy Shergil, Kapil Sharma, and many more; some obvious names with great works not only in music but in films as well. With the right intent and intellect, Kalikwest then became– “The King Of Media” worldwide. He handled all social media related works of these artists and helped them grow and climb the unmatched spot in the industry.

The expansion became pretty evident as he is known to be one of the best humans present in the industry. Kalikwest has grabbed the media’s attention only through his great work and shares great bonds with many evergreen artists.

One such name is the Shining Star– Diljit Dosanjh. The popular album G.O.A.T. made a hype not only in India but all around the globe. Guess what? The man himself was part of the project right from recording in the studio to music video direction to promotions in the U.S.A., A glimpse of him can be seen in all of the music videos of the album.

In fact, the Record Label founder, Kalikwest with Mohit Sharma has recently launched many new artists– Harnoor, Bob Randhawa, etc and promoted new singles by popular singers like D-Harp, Honey Sidhu and many more.
