Amrit Kalash Yatra starts in Assam, to reach Delhi on October 28

On Wednesday, the Amrit Kalash Yatra under the “Meri Maati Mera Desh” program began in Assam. The program will run in the state until October 26. On October 28, the urns will be transported to Delhi. On October 26, soil will be mixed together and placed in urns in Guwahati as part of the Yatra. Soil has been collected from homes in all the state’s villages and municipal wards.

Dr Numal Momin, Deputy Speaker of Assam Legislative Assembly on Wednesday took part in the programme “Meri Maati Mera Desh” with Amrit Kalash at Dillawjan village under Bokajan assembly constituency in Karbi Anglong district and collected soil from the households of the village.
