A plot in Ayodhya has been purchased by Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan ahead of the temple’s inauguration on January 22. Senior Bachchan will be constructing a home in Ayodhya, the “global spiritual capital,” according to a recent report. According to the Hindustan Times, Big B purchased a plot in Ayodhya’s The Sarayu, a seven-star planned community located by the Sarayu River. The House of Abhinandan Lodha, a developer based in Mumbai, will build it. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple is 15 minutes away. The actor reportedly paid Rs 14.5 crore for the 10,000 square feet of land.
