Following India’s World Cup 2023 final loss to Australia, Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan sent an emotional message to the team. The megastar turned to Instagram to show his undying support for the squad, underlining its importance as a source of national pride.

In the Instagram post, Bachchan shared a picture featuring himself in a white hoodie paired with black track pants, resting his hand (adorned with a wrist brace) on his heart. The legendary actor captioned the post with an encouraging message, stating, “No, no, no. Team India is not off yet. You are our pride. You are the heart where the hand rests.”

In the World Cup final, Australia bowled first and limited India to 240 runs in 50 overs. While India’s standout performances included Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and KL Rahul, Australia successfully pursued the target, winning by six wickets.

Amitabh Bachchan, recognised for his powerful presence in the film business, is preparing for his forthcoming ventures, which include the sci-fi action picture ‘Kalki 2898 AD,’ in which he co-stars with Deepika Padukone and Prabhas. The film is set to be released on January 12, 2024. In addition, Bachchan has a courtroom drama film named ‘Section 84’ in the works.
