Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister, participated in the ‘Mangla Aarti’ at the Jagannath temple before the Rath Yatra in the Jamalpur region while visiting Gujarat for a day.
After the Puri Jagannath Rath Yatra, the ‘Ratha Yatra’ Festival held in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, is regarded as the second-largest Rath Yatra in the nation.
Later in the day, the Home Minister will participate in a number of open events, such as the opening of two parks, a railway flyover, and a hospital.
The Home Minister officially opened a recently built park by Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) in Ahmedabad’s New Ranip. The freshly built Jagatpur railway flyover by AMC and Railways in Ahmedabad’s Chandlodia neighbourhood will also be officially opened by the home minister.
Later, Shah will dedicate a public park in Ahmedabad’s Credai Garden neighbourhood.
The Home Minister will later participate in Trimurti Hospital’s “Bhoomi Poojan” celebration at Ahmedabad’s Bavla neighbourhood.
