Union Home Minister Amit Shah embarked on a one-day tour of the state, addressing nine Lok Sabha constituencies simultaneously regarding the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. During this tour, he interacted with party workers as well as intellectuals and once again called for making Narendra Modi the Prime Minister.
Home Minister Amit Shah visited Bikaner, Udaipur, and Jaipur.
Covering three districts in one go, Amit Shah also outlined the electoral agenda for BJP workers. In these elections, the party will contest against the Congress and the I.N.D.I.A Alliance makes issues like dynastic politics, corruption, appeasement, and casteism the focal points. Additionally, it is clear from his speeches about Rajasthan that they will target former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot more than the Congress.
Mentioning Rajasthan, he consistently targeted Gehlot in all his speeches. He also tasked BJP workers with winning the Lok Sabha elections with 400 seats.
Addressing intellectuals and BJP workers at an auditorium in Tilak Nagar, Jaipur, Home Minister Shah also said that setting records is easy, but maintaining them is essential. BJP has twice created a record by winning all 25 seats in Rajasthan.
However, this time it is necessary to maintain that record. He also briefed the audience about the development works carried out in Rajasthan by the Centre. Information was also sought regarding the expenditure on those schemes from former CM Gehlot.
Bringing up PM Modi, Shah said that within ten years, he has taken India’s pride from the ground to the sky. He mentioned that Narendra Modi has set a goal before the people of this country to make India the first in the world.
Therefore, by 2047, India will be self-reliant and ahead of everyone else. He stated that in ten years, Modi has pushed the country forward. He did what people couldn’t even dream of.
Regarding the elections, Shah said that while a party’s government can make revolutionary decisions over 25 or 50 years, Modi has made more than 50 such decisions that have propelled the country forward.
He said, “There are two big camps now. On one side is the BJP, which consists of patriots. On the other side is the I.N.D.I.A Alliance, which is a dynastic party. Now, the people of Rajasthan have to decide whether they want to vote for the patriot camp BJP or the arrogant I.N.D.I.A Alliance.”
Shah stated, “BJP’s sole objective is to make India the first in the world. While in the I.N.D.I.A Alliance, Sonia’s goal is to make Rahul the Prime Minister, and Lalu and Uddhav want to make their sons CMs.”
He questioned, “People who do politics for their families, what good can they do for the country?”
Shah also criticised the Congress regarding terrorism. He said, “PM Modi has worked to secure the country. We all saw the tenure of Manmohan Singh when terrorists came from Pakistan and carried out bombings. But, when Modi became PM in 2014 and the Pulwama attack happened, we conducted surgical strikes and air strikes, entering Pakistan and responding. There was a time when only America and Israel used to respond first at home. But now, India is also responding in the same way.”
Congress leaders repeatedly remain silent: Shah
Amit Shah, taking a dig at Congress leaders, said, “They often ask Congress friends off the record about their goals, and they remain silent. Even when asked why they oppose, they remain silent. When asked why they don’t support good things, they remain silent too.”
He said that even when asked why Congress leaders remain silent repeatedly, they remain silent.
Those whose roots are in Italy cannot respect Indian tradition: Shah
Shah said that we have a leader who never takes a day off. Meanwhile, there is a leader who takes a holiday abroad every three months. If Modi had taken a day off, there wouldn’t be toilets in every home and the poor wouldn’t get free rations.
He said that India gained independence in 1947, but Modi has given life to it. Criticising Congress, he said, “Congress raised questions on Kedarnath, Badrinath, and Mahakal. If a Ram temple is built, they call it a stone temple.”
Shah said, “I believe that although India gained independence in 1947, Modi has given life to this country. Those whose roots are in Italy cannot respect the tradition of India.”
PM Modi has taught leaders of other parties to wear the sacred thread: CM Bhajan Lal
Meanwhile, CM Bhajan Lal Sharma said, “Our Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taught leaders of other political parties to wear the sacred thread. A few months ago, the BJP formed the government in Rajasthan. Whatever promises we have made in the resolution letter, we will fulfil them. We have also started working in this direction.”
He said, “Go among the people and tell them boldly that after 2014 no one can point a finger at us. Our Prime Minister does what he says and says what he does.”
