Union Home Minister Amit Shah offered several gifts during his visit to Karnal, Haryana. While inaugurating the Antyodaya Mahasammelan, the government announced that, starting from January 1, elderly individuals in the state would receive an old-age pension of Rs 3,000. Furthermore, under the Chief Minister Tirthatan Yojana, free pilgrimages will be provided to individuals above 60 years of age. Additionally, Antyodaya families will benefit from free travel on roadways. He also commended CM Manohar Lal for his work.
At the Antyodaya Mahasammelan in Karnal, Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah stated that Haryana’s land is the land of farmers. He saluted Haryana’s land repeatedly. The Chief Minister Teerth Yojana was a demand of many. Amit Shah criticized Congress for keeping the Ram Temple pending for numerous years. He highlighted that Prime Minister Modi conducted the Bhoomi Pujan of the Ram Temple and will inaugurate it on January 22. He encouraged people to take advantage of the pilgrimage scheme and visit Ramlala.
The Union Minister highlighted the achievements under the Prime Minister’s leadership, including the establishment of 7 IITs, 7 IIMs, and 15 AIIMS institutions. Manohar Lal’s government established 77 new colleges in Haryana, along with 13 universities, 8 medical colleges, and 2 new airports. He stated that Congress should learn from the Modi and Manohar governments and praised the increase in pensions from Rs 2750 to Rs 3000. He emphasized that Manohar Lal’s government is committed to purchasing farmers’ crops at the MSP, and Haryana ranks second in providing logistics facilities nationwide.
When questioning Bhupendra Hooda, Union Minister Amit Shah targeted the previous governments. He inquired about the development during Hooda’s nine-year tenure and criticized the auctioning of land during his rule, suggesting it was done to benefit his son-in-law. Amit Shah also accused the former CM of favouritism in job appointments. He criticized the Chautala government for its poor law and order record and alleged rigging in job appointments.
In addition, the Union Home Minister criticized the Congress for making empty promises and failing to implement programs aimed at poverty reduction, such as ‘Garibi Hatao.’ He contrasted this with the successful implementation of various schemes during the BJP’s tenure, stating that people will no longer be fooled by empty rhetoric.
CM Manohar Lal announced that attendees at the event would receive a bag containing a calendar starting from January 1. He explained that there would be only two holidays – one on the day of Lok Sabha elections and the other on the day of assembly elections. He urged the public to make wise choices and vote in his favour.
At the Antyodaya Mahasammelan in Karnal, BJP State President Naib Saini extended a warm welcome to Amit Shah and expressed gratitude for his visit to Karnal. He emphasized that the BJP has provided strong leadership in the form of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and successfully implemented various schemes that benefit the people. Chief Minister Manohar Lal played a crucial role in bringing these schemes to the public in Haryana, ensuring the state’s participation in the central government’s initiatives.
MP Kartikeya Sharma, present at the event, highlighted the significance of the program in helping the people of the state understand the government’s policies for public welfare. He noted the substantial number of beneficiaries in attendance to hear the Union Home Minister.
