Amit Arya, former media advisor to the Chief Minister of Haryana, has been given big responsibility in the Central Government. In view of his work, the Central Government has appointed him as Senior Media Consultant. Under this appointment, along with promoting the schemes of the Central Government, he will also give suggestions to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
Amit Arya has been given this appointment after serving as Media Advisor in Haryana Government for about nine years. Before this, he had been an active contributor to the national media for twenty years. He has played the role of editor in many news channels.
Recently he resigned from Haryana Government. After which the Central Government has entrusted him with this responsibility. Under the new responsibility, Amit Arya has been given the charge of Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu Kashmir etc. They will work strongly for the publicity of the Central Government in these states.
The responsibility of better coordination with the media world of the state will also be a part of his work.
Amit Arya, media advisor to Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, had resigned from his post two months ago. With Manohar Lal becoming the Chief Minister in 2014, he was appointed to the post of Media Advisor. He was continuously looking after the work of CM’s media advisor for about 9 years. Haryana CM accepted his resignation after keeping it on hold for two weeks.
