As experts were claiming the possibility of the third wave of the fatal Corona, Heryana continues to witness a spurt in new cases which is an alarming situation. it is pertinent to mention that more than 500 cases surfaced on January 2, 2022 which is the highest number during six last months. Therefore it is a clear indication indicating about the worsening situation requiring the state government to come up with a foolproof strategy so that the increasing cases can be controlled. In wake of the spurt in Corona, the Haryana government has issued a certain set of orders in a bid to curb the disease. Following an increase in new cases and to deal with the disease, the state government has ordered here to suspend the physical classes in the universities across the state and besides, the students are advised to stay inside the hostels. Prior to this, the government already had issued orders to keep the market and malls open till 5 PM. In continuation to this, cinema, theater and multiplexes will remain closed till Jan 12, 2022. Besides, the government as well as the private offices will be running with a capacity of 50 percent staff excluding an emergency.

What is of utmost importance to mention here is that the deadly disease is getting spread at large scale particularly in the districts falling the National Capital Region (NCR) which added to the woes of the health department. Besides, few of districts adjoining to the neighboring state are most affected after the third wave strikes the scenario.

The list of five most affected districts in the state includes Gurugram, Faridabad, Sonipat, Ambala and Panchkula and in view of an increase in corona in these districts, all these have been put under category-A more prone to the disease. it is worth mentioning that out of the total new cases reported in last few days, nearly 50 percent had been reported in Gurugram which is a matter of serious concern. Besides, adjoining Faridabad continues to meet the same fate as it occupies the second position in terms of fresh cases. It is noticeable fact that during last five days, more than 2000 peope got affected by the corona.

Although, the state government had set control room and emergency helpline in order to provide any kind of assistance, advice or information pertaining to the disease. In case of the emergency, the infected patients or his family member can call on 85588-93911, 1075, 108 and 011-23978046 numbers.

Likewise, Gurugram and Faridabad, Sonipat is also adjoining to the National Capital Delhi which emerged a huge reason for a rise in cases and untimely death at large scale during second wave of corona. Similarly, Panchkula and Ambala are adjoining to borders of Punjab, Himchal Pardesh and Punjab a respectively. Thus, in view of the ongoing scenario, the peope are required to adopt COVID appropriate behaviour.
