With just three days left, Adampur constituency in Haryana’s Hisar district is all set to witness a high-stakes political and multi cornered battle to be held on November 3. Caste factor is most likely to play a pivotal role in the forthcoming bypolls. In continuation to this, it is worth mentioning that the voters hailing from Schedule Caste (SC) and Other Backward Class (OBC) are most likely to play decisive roles as both constitute more than one third of the total vote bank. In wake of this, All parties are putting their best to woo the voters hailing from these communities.
All parties have launched an all-out attack against each other in a bid to woo the voters hailing from SC and OBC particularly, the BJP and the Congress are accusing each other of anti-Dalit which led to political ruckus.
The Congress state president Udai Bhan who hails from SC community and is very close to Bhupender Singh Hooda, is trying to woo Dalit voters. Uday Bhan continues to accuse Kuldeep Bishnoi, father of the BJP contender, of being anti-Dalit saying that he had congratulated Kuldeep when he was given berth in the Congress working committee, but Kuldeep rebelled against the Congress after he was appointed as the state party chief. Further he said that this clearly indicates his anti-Dalit mentality. Therefore, the people of Adampur have a chance to teach a lesson to a person of such mentality in the by-election.

In a reaction to this, Kuldeep Bishnoi reacted that he is not anti-Dalit, rather Hooda as he forced the a Dalit and Congress stalwart then, namely Ashok Tanwar for his political greed and dominance in the party. Besides, he left no stone unturned to neglect another dalit leader Kumari Seleja Putting her on backfoot which harmed and weaken the party in Haryana.Similarly, in a bid to woo the voters from SC and OBC communities, the BJP has been appointed, Rajya Sabha MP Krishan Lal Panwa, a dalit leader and Surender Arya, an OBC leader as the co-election In-charges. The Aam Admi Party (AAP) is banking on AShok Tanwar, a Dalit leader to polarise consolidate a big chunk of non-Jat voters hailing from the community.
