Actor Jaideep Ahlawat claimed that because he is frequently let down by his own performances, he cannot watch himself on screen. He did, however, acknowledge that he found time for Meghna Gulzar’s Raazi and his popular Prime Video series Paatal Lok. The actor claimed in a recent interview that he watched Paatal Lok two full months after its release and that he only consented to see Raazi after Meghna and its star Alia Bhatt threatened him.
In an interview with his Jaane Jaan co-star Saurabh Sachdeva, Jaideep discussed his time on Raazi and revealed that, for the first time ever, his job started giving him nightmares. It’s common to experience effects from work. For the first time ever, I started having nightmares while watching Raazi. I never had nightmares before. But I became frightened because I was so immersed in the world of espionage at the time and had read so much about it.
