The daughter of the Samajwadi chief Akhilesh Yadav, Aditi carried out campaign for the party and her mother Dimple Yadav in Mainpuri for the Lok Sabha election on April 27th, 2024.
She interacted with the people of Mainpuri and appealed to them to vote for her mother Dimple Yadav in the Lok Sabha election. According to the video, she is receiving a garland from people and is also seen conversing with a woman.
Mainpuri district is traditionally seen as a bastion of the Samajwadi Party. As in 2019, the SP patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav managed to retain the seat by a margin of 94,389 votes.
However, in the recent 2024 election, the party has nominated Dimple Yadav for the Lok Sabha seat. Who secured a victory in the district’s 2022 by-election with a margin of 2.8 lakh votes, following Mulayam Singh Yadav’s death. Courtesy a sympathy wave.
But according to the political analyst, this won’t be an easy task for dimple Yadav to win by a record thin i.e. winning by a margin of 4 lakh votes. And BJP’s candidate Jaiveer Singh too has been aggressive in its campaign. Who wins the Mainpuri election remains to be seen.
The district of Mainpuri will vote in the third phase of the election on May 7 2024.
