The man Shankar Mishra who allegedly peed at an elderly woman traveling in business class on an Air India flight has stated through his lawyers that the lady has displayed no intention to complain.

Meanwhile, the lawyers of Shankar Mishra Ishanee Sharma and Akshat Bajpai have issued a statement in which the statement reads, “The WhatsApp messages between the accused and the lady clearly show that the accused had got the clothes and bags cleaned on November 28 and the same was delivered on November 30.”

“The lady’s persisting grievance was only with respect to the adequate compensation being paid by the Airline for which she has raised a subsequent complaint on December 20, 2022,” the statement stated.

Moreover, on 28 November the accused was given compensation and she agreed that she’ll not lodge a complaint but according to the lawyers, her daughter returned the money on 19 December.

According to the statement, there is no eyewitness to the incident and all evidence is merely hearsay.

However, in the statements the settlement reached between the parties has also been affirmed and so it was submitted to the cabin crew.

“The accused has full faith in the judicial system of the country and will cooperate with the investigation process,” the statement stated.
