Authorities claim that the pilots sent prompt reports to the air traffic control so that a quick response could be given at the shortest possible notice. Happily, the aircraft was safely brought back to the Tiruchirappalli airport and had nearly escaped major mishap. An incident of such nature had been dealt with as per regular technical norms followed for handling grave situations.
The officials said the individuals on board were reported to be unharmed, and rescue teams are standing by at the airport as a precautionary measure. As probes are being conducted further to confirm exactly what caused this hydraulic failure, it is now being seen as a very appropriate display of crew experience and preparation in resolving the matter so effectively.
