The video first went on Instagram, wherein an apartment tour of such a unique residence has been taken. Its exterior has been crowned with a huge hamburger. Inside, the living room comes complete with a sofa in the same shape. Next on tour is the bedroom where the theme really comes into its own with a burger-shaped bed-the lead actor. Whimsical design certainly doesn’t stop there, since it includes even a bathtub filled with a yellow liquid-like melted cheese-which perfectly falls into place in a burger theme. The kitchen and outdoor pool match that fun style. As the caption of the video puts it, “If only every door led to hamburgers.”
Since posting, the video has received more than 33 million views and even reached McDonald’s Brazil’s Instagram page, which commented, “O designer de interiores no seu dia menos fa do Mequinho,” loosely translating to “The interior designer is like a little girl that loves hamburgers.
And the internet reactions are coming thick and fast, as one user has already christened the house as a “Homeburger.” Another said, “Amazing!!! Waiting for the French fries house”; another humorously posted, “I can imagine the smell.” The last comment summed it up for all: “That’s one food I could survive on my whole life.”
