A disturbing video that has surfaced on social media shows two students in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, being brutally beaten by a PG hostel manager over a rent dispute. The footage, shared on X (formerly Twitter) by user @SachinGuptaUP, captures the horrifying moment when the two young men had cloths stuffed into their mouths while being whipped with a belt.

Video Goes Viral, Police Take Action

The video, which has since gone viral, names one of the victims as Shivam, a student from Etah who had come to Agra to pursue his studies. Reports suggest that following the incident, which occurred over a month ago, Shivam left the PG hostel and returned home, fearing further retaliation.

The Police Commissioner of Agra has responded to the viral video, stating, “This case is old. A notice has been issued to the concerned PG, and necessary legal action is being taken by the New Agra Police Station.” Despite the delay in filing a formal complaint, the viral video has triggered an outcry, with netizens demanding immediate justice.

Public Outrage Grows

Social media has been flooded with angry reactions to the video. One user expressed their outrage, saying, “Send this wicked man to jail immediately,” while another lamented, “Brutality has spread in society. It seems as if no one is willing to listen to anyone anymore.”
