The construction work of an additional entry corridor, similar to the Kashi Corridor, in the Siddvapeeth Mata Mansa Devi temple complex is set to begin soon. Haryana Urban Development Authority will undertake the construction of this additional entry corridor at a cost of Rs 6.11 crore, based on drawings prepared by CBRI Roorkee. Currently, devotees have darshan of Mata through the entry shed on the left side of Shri Mata Mansa Devi Temple, reaching the temple via this shed and winding stairs. However, the devotees in the queue cannot enjoy the grand view in front of the main temple.

Haryana Assembly Speaker Gyan Chand Gupta directed the officials of Haryana Urban Development Authority to complete all necessary processes and initiate the construction work this week. Gupta presided over the meeting organized on Monday in the conference hall of Mata Mansa Devi temple complex regarding the construction of the additional entry corridor and Hanuman Vatika. Deputy Commissioner and Chief Administrator of Shri Mata Mansa Devi Place of Worship Board Sushil Sarwan and Municipal Corporation Mayor Kulbhushan Goyal were also present at the meeting. Gupta directed to start the construction work of the new corridor as soon as possible for the convenience of the devotees. Haryana Urban Development Authority Executive Engineer NK Payal, present in the meeting, mentioned that the construction work of the corridor would commence this week, with all formalities already completed.

The meeting also discussed the detailed construction plan for a grand Hanuman Vatika in the temple premises, costing Rs 25 crores, to be built by Haryana Urban Development Authority. Gupta directed the authority to hire a consultant for the construction of Hanuman Vatika. He emphasized the removal of illegal encroachments around the temple premises through a joint campaign by HSVP and the Municipal Corporation. Additionally, measures should be taken to prevent future encroachments in the area. Present at the occasion were Joint Commissioner of Municipal Corporation Simranjit Kaur, Superintendent Engineer Vijay Goyal, Executive Engineer of HSVP NK Payal, Executive Engineer of Public Works Department Ashish Chauhan, Secretary of Mata Mansa Devi Puja Sthal Board Sharda Prajapati, Secretary of Kali Mata Temple Kalka Prithviraj, Board member Vishal Seth, SDO Rakesh Pahuja, and other concerned officers.
