After having a quarrel with the family the accused who allegedly murdered four members of his family in Palam was alcoholic when he committed the crime.

According to the Delhi Police, the accused has a quarrel with their family over the job and a preliminary investigation is going into the case.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday the accused was arrested at the crime scene when he was trying to flee.

“The motive for the crime (as emerged from the initial investigation) appears to be a quarrel with family members as the accused did not have a stable job,” the police said.

Moreover, the accused murdered his sister, father, mother, and grandmother.

The police further said, “On reach reaching the Spot, PCR staff found four family members of the accused had died in their house and the accused who was trying to escape was caught by the caller and his relatives along with PCR staff.”

However, under section 302 IPC the case has been registered at the Palam Police Station.

However, further investigation is underway.
