However, an old interview of Aishwarya recently went viral, reigniting discussions and leading to online trolls targeting the Bachchan family.
The viral clip is from an older interview where Aishwarya spoke about her and Abhishek’s Roka ceremony. She revealed that she wasn’t prepared for the Roka and had been trying to delay it, but the Bachchan family unexpectedly showed up at her home. Following this interview’s resurfacing, people began trolling the Bachchans, commenting, “Then they rushed to make her a daughter-in-law, and now they can’t manage things.”
In the interview, Aishwarya shared that Abhishek’s proposal was a beautiful surprise for her, but everything moved quickly. She mentioned that being from South India, she wasn’t very familiar with the Roka tradition. One day, she received a call informing her that the Bachchan family was coming to her home. At the time, her father was out of town, and upon informing him, he advised her to welcome them as they were on their way.
Aishwarya recalled her shock when Amitabh Bachchan himself called to say they were coming over. Abhishek added that he couldn’t stop his family. The Roka eventually took place in her father’s absence, as he wasn’t in the city. Despite her attempts to delay it, the emotional gathering of family members led to the ceremony happening.
