According to AAP will complain to the Delhi LG over the ‘Shivling’-shaped fountains that were erected there before the G20 sources on Friday, Vinai Kumar Saxena, the lieutenant governor of Delhi, will face a police complaint from the Aam Aadmi Party for allegedly disrespecting Hindu sentiments by installing fountains in the shape of “Shivlings” (a representation of Lord Shiva) in the nation’s capital before the G20 summit.

According to the sources, AAP MLA Durgesh Pathak would meet with the Special CP (Law and Order) today to discuss this.
By placing “Shivling”-like fountains in the midst of the beautification of the national capital ahead of the 18th G20 Heads of State and Government Summit, the LG, according to the Aam Aadmi Party, “played” with the sensibilities of the Hindus.

Sanjay Singh, the head of the AAP, demanded an apology from the Bharatiya Janata Party on ‘X’ (formerly known as Twitter).

On September 9 and 10, the G20 Summit will take place in the nation’s capital in the brand-new, cutting-edge Bharat Mandapam Convention Centre at Pragati Maidan.
