Just a few days after the formation of Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance ‘India’, a tussle has come to light between the parties involved in this alliance regarding seats in the assembly elections. Aam Aadmi Party has sought its share in 230 seats of the state from Congress in the upcoming assembly elections of Madhya Pradesh. After Aam Aadmi Party staked its claim on about 50 seats in the state, the task of ticket distribution has become complicated for Congress.
While the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party released its first list of 39 candidates several days ago and is preparing to release the second list, the Congress is yet to release its first list of candidates. One reason for this is the blind eye of the Aam Aadmi Party. AAP leaders claim that if Congress does not agree on seat sharing, then Aam Aadmi Party will not only contest elections in the entire state, but will also win more than 15 seats in the Gwalior-Chambal and Rewa divisions.
Congress is confident that it will return to power in the state like in 2018. Therefore, it was preparing to field its candidates on almost all the seats of these three states, but after the demand for seat sharing was raised by the Aam Aadmi Party and some other regional parties associated with the Indian alliance, the Congress leadership would face difficulty. Has been. Aam Aadmi Party’s Madhya Pradesh leaders and strategists say that the party’s performance in the Municipal Corporation elections has been very good.
The party had performed well in these elections in the Vindhya region, Rewa division and Gwalior-Chambal division of Madhya Pradesh. A municipal corporation was also captured. Therefore, the party is putting pressure on Congress for the distribution of seats in these two divisions. Apart from this, Aam Aadmi Party is also confident that it can get significant support from voters in big cities like Indore, Bhopal, Jabalpur. Therefore, she will also ask for seats in Congress in Malwa-Nimar, Mahakaushal and Madhya Bharat.
However, the office bearers of both Congress and Aam Aadmi Party are refraining from speaking anything openly in this matter. When it comes to ticket distribution, it is said that their aim is only to stop BJP from coming to power in Madhya Pradesh, rest they will sit together and resolve mutual issues when the time comes.
