After drawing a blank for the consecutive third time, INDIA partner Aam Aadmi Party and Congress have accepted defeat after BJP cleanly Swept winning all Seven seats in the National capital. At a press conference, AAP leader Sanjay Singh said, I want to bow down before the country’s voters. Today, the election results are coming in. The picture is becoming clearer.” He further added these elections are a message from the public that they are tired of the 10-year rule of the BJP and want to oust them. They are tired of inflation. It is the beauty of India’s democracy that people have said to the BJP to go back.

While Delhi Congress Interim President Devendra Yadav, after the defeat said, I thank the Congress workers and leaders of Delhi for working hard in this searing heat in support of the Congress and India Alliance candidates in the Lok Sabha elections, adding that the encouraging response from the voters of Delhi for the Congress candidates was a pointer that Congress will come back to its old power sooner than later. He, however, accepted the voters’ verdict and promised that Congress would strengthen its cadres at the grass-root level, and come back forcefully to regain its old glory in the Capital. Reacting to the outcome of the seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi, Yadav said that he respected the will of the people. Still, the amazing response the Congress and India Alliance candidates got in many Assembly segments was proof enough that Congress was still very strong at the grassroots level. It was just a matter of time before the party returned to its all-conquering form.
