During our recent lunch at the picturesque place, we embarked on a delightful culinary adventure that left us thoroughly satisfied and enchanted.


Our lunch began with a selection of freshly baked breads and croutons, accompanied by a generous serving of butter. The warm, crusty bread was the perfect way to whet our appetites following which we were treated to a bowl of mushroom and truffle soup. The rich aroma and velvety texture of the soup were simply divine. Each spoonful was a burst of earthy flavours that left us craving for more!


To accompany our meal, we ordered a cranberry pineapple drink and a citrusy parsley mocktail. The cranberry pineapple drink was a refreshing blend of sweet and tangy flavors, while the citrusy parsley mocktail offered a unique combination of zesty citrus notes with the herbal freshness of parsley. Both drinks were a delightful go-along for our meal, quenching our thirst and enhancing the overall dining experience!


Moving on to the main course, we indulged in the grilled corn and salad, served alongside creamy mashed potatoes. The corn, perfectly grilled, had a smoky sweetness that was complemented by the freshness of the salad. The combination of textures and flavours made for a harmonious and satisfying dish. For our non-vegetarian option, we opted for the chicken breast with parmesan cheese and marinara sauce. The chicken was tender and succulent, cooked to perfection! The parmesan cheese added a delightful tanginess, while the marinara sauce provided a burst of flavours that elevated the dish to new heights. Each bite was a delightful symphony of tastes and textures.


As our lunch drew to a close and began to set, we couldn’t resist indulging in the apple pie topped with plums! The pie was a heavenly creation, with a flaky crust and a warm, cinnamon-infused apple filling. The addition of plums added a tart sweetness that perfectly balanced the flavours. It was the ideal ending to a memorable and aesthetic meal!
Our lunch at The Verandah at Raffles Udaipur was an extraordinary experience that combined delectable cuisine with breathtaking views. From the freshly baked breads to the flavorful mushroom and truffle soup, every dish was a testament to the chef’s skill and creativity. We left The Verandah with full stomachs and hearts filled with appreciation for the remarkable dining experience we had enjoyed!
