The Dining Room is a culinary haven nestled in the heart of Raffles Udaipur overlooking the archaic fountains and well-designed lawns. Eager to indulge my taste buds, I started my morning at this renowned establishment, ready to embark on a heartful and mouth watering journey!
The day started by soaking and sniffing in the vibrant spread of breakfast delights that spanned the culinary spectrum. The fresh fruits, beautifully arranged, caught my eye, their vibrant colours enticing me to start my morning on a rather healthy note. With each bite, the burst of flavours awakened my senses, leaving me refreshed and invigorated! Accompanying the fresh fruits were an array of freshly squeezed juices, offering a vibrant medley of flavours. From tangy pineapple to refreshing apple-beetroot-carrot, each sip was a perfect complement to the breakfast feast that awaited me.
The Mysore Masala Dosa and Schezwan Cheese Dosa, both South Indian delicacies, tantalised my taste buds with their spicy and savoury flavours. The dosas, perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, were generously filled with flavorful masala and cheese, creating a symphony of tastes that left me craving for more. I then devoured the Idli Sambhar which was light and fluffy pick-me-up, paired perfectly with the aromatic and flavorful sambhar!
The Aloo Poori, a classic, comforting, and satisfying dish, was my next addition to the breakfast spread. The fluffy pooris, paired with a spicy potato curry, provided a delightful combination of textures and flavours that transported me to the streets of India with every bite.
For those with a penchant for Western breakfast fare, The Dining Room did not disappoint. The Waffles and Pancakes, cooked to perfection, were served with a variety of toppings and syrups such as nutella, dark chocolate, maple syrup, whipped cream, blueberry jam. Each bite was a delectable blend of sweetness and fluffiness, a true indulgence that brought joy to my taste buds and satisfied my sweet tooth and cravings!
The Avocado Toast, a modern brunch favourite, was a delightful surprise. The creamy avocado spread atop toasted bread was enhanced with a sprinkle of salt, pepper, and a hint of lime, creating a harmonious balance of flavours that left me craving for more.
The Croissants, baked to perfection, were flaky and buttery, melting in my mouth with each bite. Accompanied by a selection of jams and spreads, they were the perfect accompaniment to a cup of freshly brewed coffee, adding a touch of elegance to the breakfast experience.
Last but not least, the French Toast, a classic breakfast favourite, was a decadent treat.
