Actress Kiara Advani, who has gained the limelight lately due to her upcoming film, Game Changer, is now in the middle of a controversy. She shared a behind-the-scenes video to social media that was later highly criticized by the supporters and the online people. The video was uploaded to give the choreographer Jani Master credit for his contribution to the song Dhop of the movie.
In her post, Kiara expressed admiration for Jani Master’s choreography, recalling how challenging yet rewarding it was to learn the dance routine. “I remember seeing @alwaysjani master’s choreography and thinking, how are we going to do this? But that’s the beauty of our job, always learning something new,” she wrote.

However, it was the choreographer’s current legal issues that brought out anger over the post. The POCSO Act alleged that a former employee of Jani Master had sexual assault charges, which started when the complainant was 16 years old. He was also deprived of his National Film Award for the song Megham Karukkatha by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting as a result of the case.
Many people on social media condemned Kiara for what they perceived to be a tone-deaf and insensitive act. Some users commented, “This is tone-deaf, especially considering the severity of the allegations,” while others expressed disappointment and open fury. One person said, “The actors seriously don’t care about anything.”
Game Changer, directed by Shankar, remains one of the most awaited films despite the controversy. The movie, which is scheduled to release in theaters on January 10, 2025, stars Ram Charan and Kiara Advani. Anjali, Samuthirakani, S. J. Suryah, Srikanth, Prakash Raj, and Sunil are also part of the cast.
