Bollywood star Alia Bhatt seemed to share a light moment with Saif Ali Khan and Karisma Kapoor as they headed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s residence in New Delhi. In a video circulating online, Alia was seen playfully referencing the popular Hum Saath – Saath Hain song “ABCD” while the group boarded a bus.
For context, Saif and Karisma both featured in Hum Saath – Saath Hain. Saif had a prominent role in the film and the “ABCD” song, while Karisma made a cameo appearance. The bus ride appeared to remind Alia of the song, prompting her playful teasing.
Alia, along with Saif, Karisma, and other Kapoor family members, was in New Delhi to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi to commemorate the centenary of legendary filmmaker Raj Kapoor’s birth. Sharing photos of the occasion on Instagram, Alia reflected on Raj Kapoor’s lasting influence:

“Art is timeless. And sometimes to move forward, we must look back and learn. Mr. Raj Kapoor’s impact was truly global. He marked his footprint all across the world with the movies he made, the stories he told. Yesterday was such an honour to be invited by our respected Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, to spend a lovely afternoon commemorating the life and legend of Mr. Raj Kapoor. Merely listening to his stories makes me learn so much, and his legacy continues to inspire,” Alia wrote.

She also announced the Raj Kapoor 100 Film Festival, a celebration of his work spanning four decades, running from December 13-15 across 10 cities, 40 cinemas, and 135 screens. The festival will feature iconic films such as Aag (1948), Awara (1951), Shree 420 (1955), Mera Naam Joker (1970), and more.
The event highlights Raj Kapoor’s enduring legacy and his unparalleled contribution to Indian cinema.
