The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) have turned to Allu Arjun’s blockbuster Pushpa 2 for inspiration in their election campaigns, engaging in a creative poster war ahead of the Delhi Assembly elections.
On Saturday, AAP unveiled a poster featuring Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal with the phrase “Kejriwal Jhukega Nahi,” echoing a famous dialogue from the film. The poster depicts Kejriwal carrying the party’s symbol, the broom (jhaadu), with the tagline “4th Term Coming Soon,” referencing the party’s victories in 2013, 2015, and 2020.

In response, the BJP released its version on Monday, showcasing Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva sitting on a throne as the film’s protagonist, with the slogan “Bhrashtachariyon Ko Khatam Karenge” (will finish the corrupt) boldly displayed.
Campaign Highlights
AAP is focused on retaining power for a fourth consecutive term, citing its governance in schools, hospitals, and electricity. Kejriwal criticized the BJP-led central government for rising crime, stating, “Delhi Police is not in our control; otherwise, the situation would have been different.”
Meanwhile, the BJP accused AAP of corruption and inefficiency, blaming the party for issues like pollution and lawlessness. Their slogan, “Ab Nahi Sahenge, Badal Kar Rahenge” (won’t tolerate now, will bring change), emphasizes their commitment to ending AAP’s rule.
With the election heating up, both parties are sparring not just over governance but also through innovative strategies to capture voter attention.
