Under the patronage of President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Zayed Grand Camel Race 2024 commenced on Monday at the Al Wathba Camel Racetrack in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, Adviser to the UAE President and Chairman of the UAE Camel Racing Federation, attended the event alongside numerous camel owners, breeders, and fans from the UAE and GCC countries.
Abdulla Mubarak Al Muhairi, Director of the UAE Camel Racing Federation, presented awards to the winners of the day’s 13-round heritage race.
The Zayed Grand Prize Camel Race is set to feature thousands of camel owners from across the UAE and the GCC, showcasing a rich tradition of competition and cultural pride.
