Mohammed Bin Rashid To Open FNC’s New Session On Behalf Of UAE President

On November 25, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, will inaugurate the second ordinary session of the 18th legislative chapter of the Federal National Council (FNC) in Abu Dhabi. He will represent President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan at the ceremony, which will be attended by Crown Princes, Deputy Rulers, Sheikhs, civic and military officials, and members of the diplomatic corps.

Federal Decree Sets the Stage

The session follows the issuance of Federal Decree No. 163 of 2024, which called for the FNC to convene on November 25, reaffirming the UAE leadership’s commitment to legislative governance and national development.

Ceremonial Welcome for Mohammed bin Rashid

The inauguration will begin with Mohammed bin Rashid’s reception at the FNC Headquarters in Abu Dhabi by a committee led by Saqr Ghobash, the FNC Speaker. The committee will also include other FNC members and the Secretary-General, symbolizing the collaborative spirit of the UAE’s parliamentary system.
