Mr Kumar, who was also a panellist at the summit, posted a candid photograph from his brief interaction with the PM. “Got an opportunity to listen to our PM @narendramodi ji give an inspirational talk about new India’s growth story at the HT Leadership Summit,” he wrote.

In a speech which applauded the centenary of Hindustan Times, a newspaper Mahatma Gandhi was to unveil in 1924 and also release a commemorative postage stamp for the centenary, PM Modi spoke of the successes of his government in the areas involving public trust, delivery of social welfare, and focus on a vision to transform India before the independence century.

The prime minister added further in the same vein as the mantra of investment for employment, development for dignity, and prioritizing the welfare of the people. “We have made a long journey. the people who have showed India the way forward are the ordinary citizen, and her capacity and sagacity,” he added.
