AP Dhillon Residence Shooting: Suspect Arrested In Canada, Second Suspect May Have Escaped To India

A suspect who was involved in the shooting that occurred at the residence of singer AP Dhillon in British Columbia has been arrested, according to a police report, which further suggests that another suspect may have escaped to India.

The Canadian police reported, “On October 30th, 2024, a man was arrested and later charged in connection with recklessly discharging a firearm into a residence as well as setting fire to two vehicles in the 3300 block of Ravenwood Road, Colwood on September. The crime occurred on September 2024.” The arrest relates to an incident in September when shots were fired and vehicles were set on fire near Dhillon’s Vancouver-area home.

Who are the suspects in the AP Dhillon shooting case? The Royal Canadian Mounted Police identified the arrested suspect as 25-year-old Abjeet Kingra from Winnipeg. Kingra is charged with “Discharge of a Firearm with Intent and Arson.” He was arrested in Ontario and is expected to appear in court there on Friday.

Meanwhile, there’s a warrant out for Vikram Sharma, 23, who police believe went to India. Sharma is a native of Winnipeg, like Singh, and he has an unendorsed warrant for “Discharge of a Firearm with Intent and Arson”. Police are asking anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact them. There’s no photo available, but a description of him has been issued by authorities.

The shooting took place outside the residence of AP Dhillon in Vancouver in September. In this shooting, two cars parked near his home on Victoria Island were also set on fire. It occurred weeks after the music video “Old Money,” starring Salman Khan, for which Dhillon was recently targeted by the Lawrence Bishnoi-Rohit Godara gang. The gang, holding themselves responsible for the shooting, had issued a threat to Dhillon to “stay within his limits, or he will meet a ‘dog’s death'” because of his connections to Khan.
