King Charles III and his wife, Camilla, have been discreetly staying in Bengaluru since October 27, as reported by The Indian Express. The 75-year-old monarch and the Queen Consort are undergoing wellness treatments at Soukya International Holistic Health Centre (SIHC) in Whitefield.

The royal couple arrived in Bengaluru directly from Samoa, where they attended the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting from October 21 to 26. Due to the secretive nature of their trip, the Karnataka state government did not officially welcome them upon their arrival at HAL airport, and there were no traffic restrictions during their transit to Whitefield.

During their stay at SIHC, King Charles and Camilla have participated in early morning yoga sessions, rejuvenation treatments, and special therapy sessions facilitated by the center’s dedicated staff. The couple has also enjoyed the center’s cuisine and taken long walks during their downtime. They are scheduled to depart from Bengaluru today.

This visit marks King Charles III’s first official trip to Bengaluru as monarch; however, he previously visited the city multiple times as the Prince of Wales. Notably, his 71st birthday was celebrated at the SIHC with considerable fanfare. Following the death of Queen Elizabeth II in 2022, Charles ascended to the throne.

Located in Samethanahalli, Whitefield, Soukya International Holistic Health Centre was established by Dr. Issac Mathai and Dr. Suja Issac. The wellness center specializes in various treatments, including Ayurveda, Naturopathy, Acupressure, Yoga, and Homeopathy. Charles has reportedly visited SIHC nine times previously and has a dedicated staff assigned to his care during each stay.
