During the Ashwin Navratri fair, devotees continue to flock to the temples of Shri Mata Mansa Devi and Shri Kali Mata in Kalka, offering their prayers and wishes. On Tuesday, over 26,600 devotees bowed at the temples, offering their heartfelt prayers. The Shri Mata Mansa Devi Shrine Board has organized excellent arrangements for devotees, including a tasteful feast, with special provisions made for devotees observing fasts during Navratri.
Dr. Yash Garg, Chairman of the Shrine Board and Deputy Commissioner, shared that on October 8, devotees donated a total of Rs 20,95,521 at Shri Mata Mansa Devi, Shri Kali Mata Temple in Kalka, and Chandi Mandir. Out of this, Rs 16,59,496 was contributed at Shri Mata Mansa Devi Temple, and Rs 2,96,865 at Shri Kali Mata Temple.
Additionally, the Chandi Mata Temple received offerings totaling Rs 1,39,160. At Shri Mata Mansa Devi Temple, one gold nugget weighing 1.5 grams and 22 silver items weighing 318 grams were also donated. Similarly, at Shri Kali Mata Temple, devotees presented 25 silver pieces weighing 86.5 grams. Altogether, both temples received 47 silver items weighing a total of 404.7 grams.
Dr. Garg also reported that over 26,600 devotees visited both temples on October 8, praying for their wishes to be fulfilled. Large crowds continue to gather daily to pay their respects, with many visiting the Kali Mata Temple to perform rituals and offer their prayers.
