PM Modi Confident Of Third Term For BJP

Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed confidence on Thursday that the BJP will make history by forming the government for a third consecutive term in Haryana.
As the campaign for the state assembly elections drew to a close, PM Modi took to his X (formerly Twitter) account to share his optimism, underscoring the people’s rejection of the Congress’s “divisive and negative politics.”

In a series of posts, PM Modi said,“The campaign for the Haryana assembly elections will end shortly. I have travelled all over the state in the last few days. The enthusiasm I have seen among the people gives me full confidence that the people of Haryana will once again give their blessings to the BJP. The patriotic people of Haryana will never accept the divisive and negative politics of the Congress.”

The Prime Minister emphasised that the Congress has become synonymous with corruption, casteism, communalism, and nepotism, and he strongly criticized the party’s leadership, stating that their politics were driven purely by self-interest. “The people of Haryana know that Congress means a guarantee of corruption, casteism, communalism, and nepotism. The sole objective of father-son politics is self-interest. Congress is nothing but a syndicate of brokers and sons-in-law. People today are witnessing the failures of Congress governments from Himachal to Karnataka”, PM Modi tweeted in Hindi, accusing Congress of promoting cronyism.

PM Modi has been vigorously campaigning in Haryana, addressing several rallies across the state. His first rally in the poll-bound state was held on September 14 in Kurukshetra. He later addressed gatherings in Sonipat on September 25 and Hisar on September 28. On October 1, he rallied supporters in Palwal, where he continued his sharp criticism of the Congress. During his address in Palwal, PM Modi alleged that the Congress has long been against the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya and has failed to fully implement the Constitution in Jammu and Kashmir. He accused the Congress of neglecting national security and development issues, focusing instead on what he termed the “urban Naxal” agenda.
In his speech, PM Modi labelled Congress as the “biggest anti-Dalit party” in the country, alleging that the party has plans to end reservations, using Haryana as a testing ground. The Congress has planned to end reservations… Haryana is their test state. But no one can end reservations as long as Modi and the BJP are here, he asserted.

Haryana is set to go to the polls on October 5 to elect its 90-member state legislative assembly, with vote counting to take place on October 8. The state heads into this critical election, the BJP is looking to secure a strong mandate for a third consecutive term.
