PM Modi Unsparing On Cong

In his final election rally in Haryana, Prime Minister Narendra Modi hit out at Congress again, accusing the opposition party of fostering divisions through caste politics, corruption and misleading promises on reservations. Addressing a gathering in Palwal the Prime Minister charged Congress with undermining national unity by sowing discord along caste and religious lines and accused Congress of relying on “false promises” and warned voters against falling for their “dynastic politics”.

Modi praised the hardworking culture of Haryana while criticising Congress for their decades of misgovernance. He emphasised that Congress had consistently failed the people, leaving behind a legacy of corruption and underdevelopment. Haryana has taught us the value of hard work. But Congress’ formula is clear: neither work nor let others work. Their politics is based on falsehoods, while ours is based on hard work and results,” the Prime Minister declared, receiving thunderous applause from the gathered audience.
Modi made an impassioned plea to the people of Haryana to re-elect the BJP, reminding them that the state’s history shows a pattern of electing the same party at both the Centre and in the state. “Haryana has a track record—whenever there is a BJP government at the Centre, the people of Haryana elect the same party in the state. The people of Haryana must re-elect the BJP to continue this tradition of progress and stability,” he urged.
Modi pointed to the example of Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, where Congress had made similar “fake promises” but failed to gain the trust of the people. He predicted a similar outcome for Congress in Haryana, where he said the electorate would see through their false claims.

Modi lambasted Congress for its failures in addressing key issues despite ruling the country for over 60 years. “Even today, after decades of Congress rule, many people do not have access to basic necessities like clean drinking water, proper sanitation, or even pucca houses. Congress’ rule has deprived the citizens of their rights and has only fostered corruption,” Modi said.

He also cited Congress’ opposition to critical national developments such as the construction of the Ram Temple and the full constitutional integration of Jammu and Kashmir, saying, “The Congress obstructed the Ram Mandir and denied the people of Jammu and Kashmir their full constitutional rights. They obstructed every progressive move for their vote-bank politics.”

Modi took direct aim at the Congress party’s internal rifts and its failure to appeal to marginalized communities. “Congress’ infighting is visible to all. Even the Dalit and backward communities are disillusioned with the Congress. The Dalit community has decided that they will no longer be used as pawns for Congress’ dynastic politics. They will vote for those who work for them, not for those who exploit them,” Modi proclaimed, earning loud cheers from the crowd.

He also accused Congress of planning to end reservations for Dalits and backward classes, citing the situation in Karnataka where he alleged the Congress government had reduced reservations. “Congress has always been the biggest anti-Dalit party. They defeated Dr. Ambedkar twice in elections and denied his legacy for decades. Now they are quietly plotting to eliminate reservations, using Haryana as a test case,” he warned.
Modi also criticised Congress for engaging in appeasement politics and undermining patriotism. “Congress is constantly trying to break the unity of this country. They cater to vote banks and align themselves with anti-national forces. They experimented with lies during the Lok Sabha elections, and they’re doing it again in Haryana,” he remarked.
Accusing Congress of fostering corruption, Modi said, “Congress has corruption in every vein. During their rule, brokers and land dealers thrived, while farmers received just Rs 2 in compensation. Today, Congress talks big about Minimum Support Price (MSP), but they only procured 3-4 crops under MSP. Under BJP, we procure 24 crops, and in the last eight seasons, we have directly deposited over Rs 1 lakh 10 thousand crore into farmers’ accounts.”

“Congress wants to bring back the corrupt system of Kharchi-Parchi (money and influence) in government appointments. But we have given Haryana a government free from these practices. The choice is clear: choose hard work and results over false promises and corruption,” Modi said in his final appeal to the voters of Haryana. He urged voters to reject Congress’ politics of false promises and dynastic rule, and instead choose a party that delivers results.
