Former West Indies all-rounder Dwayne Bravo has confirmed that he has finally retired from all formats of the game. He will be joining Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) prior to the 2025 Indian Premier League as a mentor. Bravo had followed a long association with Chennai Super Kings from 2011 to 2022 and was also their bowling coach in 2023. The teams he will lead under the Knight Riders banner include Trinbago Knight Riders (CPL), Los Angeles Knight Riders (MLC), and Abu Dhabi Knight Riders (ILT20).
In social media, CSK celebrated his retirement, releasing this congratulatory message to Bravo, saying, “From Champion on the field to legend in our hearts! #WhistlePodu for a Bravo of a career!” They also posted a tribute picture with this caption “DJ Bravo The Champion.”

Bravo‘s last season in the Caribbean Premier League was terminated early after he sustained an injury earlier in the week. Reflections to retirement.
