Punjab Govt’s key steps to empower youth: Randhawa

Bhagwant Mann government of Punjab is continuously working for the development of the state. Along with this, the state government is also working continuously to empower the youth. For this, Mann government is running many government schemes, as well as in collaboration with many big private institutions, it is giving training to the youth for jobs according to today’s time. Under this, District Employment and Enterprise Bureau, Mohali organized a successful placement camp at Derabassi Government College on Wednesday. 10 companies participated in this event, under which 161 youth were shortlisted out of 233 participants. During this, Derabassi MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa congratulated the selected youth. Randhawa said that 10 renowned companies like Axis Bank, SBI Cards, Paytm participated in this camp. Giving information about the camp, Randhawa said that in this camp, 161 girls and youth who have completed 10th, 12th, graduation and post graduation were given job offers by the companies. MLA Randhawa said that the objective of the placement camp was to provide employment opportunities to the youth of Punjab and to bridge the gap between job seekers and employers. He said that the event was a part of the employment mission of the Punjab government, which focused on creating job opportunities for the youth and reducing unemployment in the state. He said that the District Employment and Enterprise Bureau in Mohali is actively working for this mission and many placement camps are being organized in various districts of Punjab. On this occasion, MLA Randhawa expressed happiness and congratulated the recruited youth for their achievement. He also encouraged them to work hard and contribute to the development of Punjab. Randhawa said that the Punjab government is taking important steps to ensure the participation of youth in different sectors, empower them and make them economically self-reliant.
