Analyzing Radhika Merchant’s Vidai Outfit

Radhika’s bespoke Manish Malhotra lehenga includes a stunning backless blouse adorned with genuine gold Karchobi work, drawing inspiration from the traditional abho and the rich textile legacy of Kutch, Gujarat, reminiscent of late 19th-century artistry. The brocade silk lehenga celebrates India’s enduring elegance, featuring multiple panels with Banarasi brocade prints in warm sunset tones.

She complemented the lehenga with a Banarasi silk dupatta and a lattice-designed veil. The dupatta is intricately embroidered with real gold and Resham work, draped gracefully over her shoulders and arms. Completing the look was a veil with a substantial train, elegantly placed over her head.

Radhika’s Heirloom Jewellery

Radhika accessorized her Manish Malhotra ensemble with jewellery that she wore for her wedding with Anant. The newlywed adorned herself with a gold, diamond, and emerald choker, a luxurious necklace, polki earrings, baaju bandh, kadhas, bangles, haath phool, rings, and a mang tika. These pieces are heirlooms, passed down through Radhika’s family for generations, and were previously worn by her sister, Anjali Merchant, on her wedding day.
