The Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) has launched “Future Engineer Camp 2” at the Sharjah Archaeology Museum in Halwan. Scheduled until July 17th, the camp serves as a model of social responsibility and aims to prepare students aged 12 to 14 for future careers by imparting essential technical skills.

The camp offers a diverse range of activities and programs designed to utilize students’ leisure time productively, enhance their skills, and foster innovation in energy-related fields. Participants will learn about sustainable and renewable energy sources, energy conservation methods, and safety protocols.

Rashid Al Marzouqi, Director of the Corporate Communications Department, emphasized that developing students’ skills at this stage helps instill environmentally responsible decision-making and promotes productive time management. He highlighted workshops such as “How Does Electricity Reach Us?” explaining electricity production stages, “Water is the Backbone of Life,” focusing on water production and distribution, and “Conservation in Our Lives,” addressing optimal water usage methods.

Al Marzouqi noted SEWA’s commitment to organizing specialized activities annually to enhance students’ knowledge and skills in a fun summer setting, supporting awareness initiatives for efficient energy and water usage.
