Isha Ambani Elevates Sister-of-the-Groom Fashion Ahead of Anant Ambani’s Wedding As her brother Anant Ambani’s wedding day approaches, Isha Ambani is redefining sister-of-the-groom fashion. At a recent pre-wedding celebration, Isha showcased a unique style, distinct from her usual attire.
Isha’s Tamilian-Inspired Look
The entrepreneur donned a teal raw silk lehenga featuring a pink border and a golden blouse. She accessorized with a golden necklace embellished with large emeralds. However, the highlight of her ensemble was the traditional Tamilian jadai hairstyle.
The jadai hairstyle is composed of three segments. At the top is the rakodi, symbolizing the cycle of life, situated on the bun amidst mogra flowers. The next section is the braid, or jadai, which in Isha’s case, appeared to be adorned with golden thread. The braid concluded with a kunjalam, consisting of three small baubles.

The look was completed with jimmkis (earrings) and golden sun and moon decorations on either side of the hair partition. Isha is the daughter of Mukesh and Nita Ambani, Asia’s wealthiest individuals, and is married to Anand Piramal, with whom she has a son and a daughter.
Anant and Radhika’s Wedding
Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant are set to wed this Friday, July 12, followed by a lavish reception on July 14. The festivities will be split between the Ambani family’s Jio World Convention Center in Mumbai and their family residence.
The wedding dates were chosen based on the couple’s birth charts, a common practice in Hindu traditions, to ensure they are auspicious. Traditional wedding events and rituals will precede the main ceremony.
On Friday, social media in India was buzzing with videos from the couple’s sangeet, a ceremony where the families of the bride and groom perform dances for the guests. The event also featured performances by Bollywood stars like Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, and Salman Khan, as well as an appearance by Justin Bieber, who reportedly flew to Mumbai for the occasion.
