Trigger Warning

In a startling incident, a camel became trapped in the windscreen of a car following a high-speed collision in Rajasthan’s Hanumangarh district. The video captures the animal grunting as it struggled to free itself from the vehicle.

The brief clip begins with the camel wedged in a white car, its indicator lights flashing. Locals are seen gathered around as the animal continues to grunt. Sharing the video, Sachin Gupta, an X user, posted, “Rajasthan: Accident involving a camel and a car in Hanumangarh district. The camel got stuck in the windscreen of the car and got injured. The car occupants are safe.”

Responding to the video, one user commented, “The scene looks very dangerous.” Another added, “Very sad, a human being can express his pain but the poor animal has to understand his pain.”

“God save us from these accidents,” wrote a third user.

A similar incident occurred in December 2018 in a Middle Eastern country, where a camel was trapped inside the cabin of a Toyota Corolla sedan. Reports indicated that the footage showed the animal struggling to free its head, which was stuck through the car’s roof.

Earlier this year in January, a Sambar deer was struck by an unidentified vehicle on the Pune-Mumbai Expressway. The injured animal was found wandering in a dazed state. Local rescuers, along with the IRB patrolling team, eventually rescued the deer, according to reports.
