Actor Varun Dhawan and fashion designer Natasha Dalal tied the knot on Saturday in a private ceremony at the Mansion House resort in Alibaug. Varun and Natasha got married as per Hindu rituals in the presence of family and close friends.
The wedding was originally planned for May 2020 but due to Covid-19 pandemic, it was pushed to 2021. Varun arrived at the Mansion House resort on Saturday afternoon after reportedly having a blast at his bachelor’s party on Friday evening. Some of the selected guests including Karan Johar, Kunal Kohli, Zoa Morani, Shashank Khaitan and Manish Malhotra too reached Alibaug.
The wedding rituals took place in an intimate ceremony. Varun ’s father filmmaker David Dhawan, mother Laali, brother Rohit and his wife and daughter as well as his uncle veteran actor Anil Dhawan and his family reached at the wedding location on Friday. It was three days affair which included Mehendi, Sangeet and Shaadi.
Varun shared a picture of himself enjoying a glass of watermelon juice at the poolside with his friends and family at the resort where his wedding is taking place. Although he did not write anything in the caption, he gave a glimpse of his wedding venue. Varun and Natasha hosted a glamorous Sangeet bash a day before yesterday for their friends and family. Keeping in mind the privacy of the couple, staff working at the wedding has been asked to avoid using cell phones.
According to sources, Varun and Natasha’s wedding muhurat was post 4 pm. They donned celebrity fashion designer Manish Malhotra’s designer wedding wear for their marriage. Both Varun and Natasha colour-coordinated silver and pastel ethnic wear which seemed a dreamy and perfect match.
Varun and Natasha are planning to host a grand reception in Mumbai.
