Prime Minister Narendra Modi indirectly criticized Rahul Gandhi on Thursday, following recent praise from former Pakistani minister Chaudhry Fawad Hussain for the Congress leader. Hussain claimed that Pakistani leaders want to make “shehzada of Congress” as India’s prime minister.
Speaking at a campaign rally in Anand, Gujarat, Narendra Modi remarked that the Congress party is weakening in India, while Pakistani leaders expressed support for elevating the Congress scion to the position of prime minister.
Chaudhry Fawad Hussain shared a video of Rahul Gandhi criticizing the Bharatiya Janata Party and Prime Minister Modi.
The video shared by the ex-Pakistani minister features the Congress leader criticizing the BJP government regarding the attendees of the Ram Mandir’s Pran Pratishtha ceremony.
The altered video depicts Rahul Gandhi discussing the inauguration of the Ram Mandir, accusing the BJP government of neglecting the welfare of the impoverished and the younger generation.
On Wednesday, the BJP criticized the Congress in response to Chaudhry Fawad Hussain’s post. In a statement on the X platform, Amit Malviya, the head of BJP’s IT cell, expressed this sentiment stating, “Ch Fawad Hussain, who served in the Imran Khan cabinet, as Minister for Information and Broadcasting, is promoting Rahul Gandhi. Is the Congress planning to contest the election in Pakistan?”
“From a manifesto, that has imprints of the Muslim league to a ringing endorsement, from across the border, Congress’s dalliance with Pakistan can’t get more obvious,” Amit Malviya continued.
“Congress Shahzade are dancing around with the Constitution on their foreheads. But for 75 years, this did not apply to all parts of Hindustan. The Constitution was not applicable in Kashmir, where Article 370 was like a wall that we demolished,” Modi further remarked during the rally in Anand.
Modi also asserted that Pakistan’s terrorism has significantly diminished. The nation that once exported terrorism is now struggling to meet basic needs like flour.
“It’s my guarantee that I will work 24×7 to make India a developed country by 2047… In 10 years, we gave tap water connections to 14 crore houses, while the Congress gave it to just three crore houses in 60 years” the prime minister stated.
