Mumbai-Pune Bus Fire: No Causalities Reported

On Saturday, April 27, a private bus traveling on the Mumbai-Pune expressway near Vadgaon caught fire with 36 passengers on board. Thankfully, all passengers were evacuated promptly, and there were no reported injuries.

Another incident occurred where a large wildfire broke out in a forested area of Nainital, Uttarakhand, on Friday, April 26. The fire spread to the High Court Colony and other parts of the district. The authorities have sought assistance from the forest department and the Indian Army to contain the blaze.

The Indian Air Force has also joined the efforts, deploying a helicopter for firefighting operations in Nainital. A video released by the news agency ANI shows an IAF Mi-17 chopper collecting water from Bhimtal Lake.
